Q: What makes Spring Hill Academy Preschool different from other daycares and preschools?
A: Sometimes we don’t recognize that young child have an amazing ability to learn and retain large amounts of information. We make learning fun! Spring Hill Academy Preschool challenges its students to reach higher and learn more. Because we build the children’s enthusiasm and confidence, they respond with more of both. We aren’t typical! We take the extra step to make your child’s education exceed your expectations.
Q: How young do you enroll children?
A: We accept infants six weeks of age and older.
Q: In what ways are you a Christian preschool?
A: Spring Hill Academy Preschool is a non-denominational Christian preschool. We practice our faith at Spring Hill Academy Preschool by teaching our students Bible stories, building virtue and moral character, praying before meals, and singing songs about God.
Q: What kind of results are you getting?
A: We see amazing and breathtaking outcomes. Our students love to learn. We start instructing our two-year-olds during daily classes! Using the internationally known Abeka® Christian curriculum, Spring Hill Academy Preschool students begin learning and reading at early ages. They are also being instructed in aspects of history, language arts, science, art and crafts, music, Spanish, and Bible.
Q: Does my toddler have to be potty-trained to attend?
A: No. We will help you with your potty-training efforts while your child is here.
Q: How do you discipline?
A: We use positive reinforcement to encourage appropriate behaviors. Praise for doing things well is more powerful than scolding when things are done wrong. If unacceptable behaviors persist, children are placed in time-out to consider what they need to do to return to participating in class.
