Spring Hill Academy Preschool uses the Abeka® curriculum which is filled with academic lessons based on biblical values. The curriculum allows us to offer not only a strong, high-quality educational component to your child’s experience, but also a sound formation for their developing moral character. The Abeka® System
We use curriculum materials and resources from the Abeka® system. This system has been used successfully in early childhood educational settings across the nation since 1985. Our Christian-centered curriculum offers a well-rounded approach to early childhood education. Students of all ages experience phonics, numbers, handwriting, math, Bible, Spanish, music, story time, recess, and play time. They also have ample time for art to help refine both gross and fine motor skills.
STEM Building
Children learn best through hands on, sensory based activities! Our K4 and K5 program adds a daily STEM component to our students’ schedule. Students are taught to work together to strategize, build, and problem solve using critical thinking skills in the classroom. Teamwork and creative thinking are emphasized in this interactive time daily.
Our Programs by Age
Infant Daycare in Spring Hill, TN (6 Weeks – 12 Months)
Our infant daycare program welcomes children as young as six weeks old. Each infant follows a feeding, changing, and nap schedule built around your family’s routine at home, so the day feels familiar from the very first drop-off. Infants are exposed early to language development by our teachers reading to them, singing to them, and playing with them. Our caregivers document each day’s feeding, sleep, and milestone notes so you know exactly how your child’s day went before you walk through the door.
Toddler Care in Spring Hill, TN (1 – 2 Years)
Toddlers begin real instruction at Spring Hill Academy Preschool. Daily circle time introduces letter sounds, numbers, colors, and simple Bible stories through songs and hands-on play. It’s never too early to learn to read, even our 2-year-olds thrive in our phonics program. Potty training is never a prerequisite for enrollment — our staff supports your potty-training schedule at school so the routine stays consistent in both places.
Preschool in Spring Hill, TN (3 – 4 Years)
Our preschool program is divided into Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced sections so every child works at their optimal level rather than a grade-wide average. Students advance between sections as their skills progress. The Abeka® curriculum covers phonics, handwriting, numbers, math, Bible, Spanish, music, and story time, with daily recess, art, and play built into every schedule. Having fun is key, we want our students to enjoy learning as much as possible.
Please note that any child that needs to use the bathroom or requires a new diaper outside of the scheduled time will be taken care of as needed.
Kindergarten in Spring Hill, TN (5 Years)
Our K5 class delivers a full kindergarten year with a daily STEM component, where students strategize, build, and problem-solve in teams. By graduation, our students read, write, and handle foundational math — the goal we set for every child before they ever reach kindergarten elsewhere. We are currently accepting applications for our Kindergarten class.
Childcare Hours That Work for Working Families
We are open Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM — among the widest childcare hours in Spring Hill — so parents commuting to Franklin, Brentwood, Columbia, or Nashville can drop off early and pick up late without rushing.
