My son, Conner, began attending Spring Hill Academy Preschool when he was four at the beginning of the school year. Up until that time, he had been at home with me and other paid caregivers.
The loving Christian atmosphere at SHAP quickly won Conner over and he fell in love with learning and his teachers. He moved up into the Advanced class with Ms. Julie Jones by October of that year and has been in her wonderful care since then. He is presently in the second half of his kindergarten year and thrilled to be learning more. Ms. Jones not only makes learning fun, but uses wonderful techniques to promote quicker learning and continues to challenge her students.
My son was recently accepted to New Hope Academy, and tested out at the same level or above their current first graders. SHAP teaches Christian morals/values and uses those in dealing with each situation, and treating each child in ways that demonstrates how precious and wonderfully made they are! Conner’s character has been greatly shaped for the better because of these principles, and because of Ms. Jones continual guidance and love. She makes an effort to know each child’s family in her class and provide encouragement for parents, while being a true mentor to each child.
The entire SHAP staff has blessed us! I’m so grateful for our SHAP experience and the amazing foundation it has given Conner! Thank you, SHAP!
